A young and weak team

By Thomas Berndt
Russia, the former world champion, and Norway are the favourites of group C playing in Farum. The talented junior national team has had an effect on the national team who within recent years has benefited from the strength and talent of the young players.

Unfortunately, there has been illness among the players lately.
Up to Euro 2002, five players have been replaced. The latest to be replaced was the second oldest player, Tatiana Dyadechko who had to stay home from the match in Farum because of illness.
Danish school children adopt Euro2002-players.
