In the match between Sweden and Romania, one player from each team could celebrate their jubilees.

The Romanian goalkeeper, Ildiko Barbu entered the court in the second half and thereby played her match number 50. She comes from the Romanian club Oltchim.

The Swedish jubilee was the playmaker, Veronica Isaksson, who received flowers before the match. The match today was her match number 100. Yet, her jubilee was not as successful as Barbu's. Isaksson used nine shots to score four goals.

Isaksson's match number 101 against Austria will be very decisive for Sweden's further participation in Euro 2002.
