All Danes fit for fight

By Rasmus Holm Thomsen

Physiotherapist for the Danish team, Gorm H. Rasmussen, has given all the Danish players the green light for tonight's match against Romania although Christina Roslyng received treatment of her shoulder during practice Monday.

'My shoulder was twisted slightly in the match against the Netherlands but this won't get in the way of the match against Romania,' says Christina Roslyng.

Christina Roslyng's shoulder was slightly tender Monday but this did not cause Gorm H. Rasmussen too much concern. 'Christina (Roslyng ed.) has a minor sprain but this is not something which worries us at present. In the long run it may cause problems but for the time being we will do some preventive exercises and hope that this will keep it from becoming a problem,' says Gorm H. Rasmussen.

Prior to Euro 2002 Gorm H. Rasmussen had plenty of work since there was doubt about a number of players' participation. 'There has been a lot less work than we anticipated and we can definitely not use injuries as an excuse tonight. All the players are ready,' says Gorm H. Rasmussen who is pleasantly surprised about the players' physical condition.
