Pytlick: The defence
is working
By Rasmus Holm Jensen
The Danish coach, Jan Pytlick, was satisfied with his team after
their match against France. He labelled the match 'a typical match
against France'.'
'Our matches against France are usually very close, and the match
today was no exception. As always against France, the battle was
fought in the defence, and today our defence was really good'.
Especially the Danish central defence was praised by Pytlick.
'The three players we use in the central defence today do a remarkable
job. I think that we have four players, by now, who can play in
the central defence, and today the two line players and Ditte Andersen
show true class'.
Goalkeeper Karin Mortensen was also praised by Pytlick:
'I do not feel that there is any doubt that Karin Mortensen made
the difference between the two teams today. Karin Mortensen did
an outstanding job, and we owe our victory today to her'.
The French coach, Oliver Krumbholz, also, had words of praise for
Karin Mortensen's excellent performance.
'The Danish goalkeeper kept getting better throughout the match.
We were not able to score on our chances, and she was the one who
made the difference today'.
