Hungary must win on technical skills

By Marie Bjerre
'The Russians have a very strong team which is physically stronger than us. We will have to win through our motivation and concentration,' explains the Hungarian coach, Lajos Mocsai after today's practice. The Hungarians will concentrate on outplaying the strong Russian defence. The line players are the Hungarians' biggest fear. Therefore today's practice also focused on practicing plays which can trick the large line players, Liudmila Bodnieva and Oxana Romenskaya. However, they are both slightly injured.

However, the Hungarians will not build their strategy on the injuries:
'We don't believe that it will make the Russian team weaker. We are up against a well-organised defence,' says Lajos Mocsai and he continues: 'We have to be aware of their fast breaks and try to keep up with their fast pace.'

In tonight's match we will see two well-fighting teams. The match is decisive for both teams. The Hungarian coach ensures that the Hungarians will focus on their strength - an intelligent and flexible offence.
