Olivier Krumbholz sceptic
about French success at Euro 2002
By Claus T. Kraemmergaard
After losing to the Danish hosts the French coach was sceptic
about his team's chances of success at Euro 2002.
The French team is hampered by a number of small injuries, and
Olivier Krumbholz believes that this may trip up France's hopes
of winning the championship.
An injury is also the reason why the French national team has to
do without their irrefutably biggest star, Leila Lwjoune. A loss
Olivier Krumbholz still laments.
Despite the loss to Denmark Olivier Krumbholz is convinced that
the French ladies stand a good chance against Ukraine in the last
match in the preliminary round on Sunday night.
'It will be a very different match, and our strategy will be very
different. It is normally easier for us to play against Ukraine
than Denmark, because the Ukrainian play is more simple', says Olivier
Krumbholz.
